AM in the Community

It is always our goal to give back to the communities that we service. Recently, we had the opportunity to sponsor some children in one of the south side neighborhoods.  There is a new neighborhood garden being grown on Chicago's south side by Alexander Movers' very own Gloria Washington.  We were able to assist her goal to bring some of the local area children out for the day to learn about growing their own food!  The new garden, called At the Well, is located at 79th and Escanaba and its goal is to provide healthy affordable fruits and vegetables for the families in the community.  Also, it will provide a place for the children in the neighborhood to go and learn about agriculture and healthy eating.  We are excited to team up with the At the Well staff to be a part of the change needed for our community!
